Amy James is an organizational development consultant with 12 years of experience helping organizations maximize their human capital—primarily by building HR systems that address both employee performance and organizational performance. Specifically, she has considerable experience building multiple competency-based systems that enable organizations to identify, attract, hire, manage, motivate, and reward performance and productivity. Beyond her ability to create, Amy also has considerable experience assessing and coaching high potential leaders in multiple industries.
Across her career, Amy has worked with organizations in the financial services, pharmaceutical, healthcare, information technology, fast food, and non-profit sectors. Her clients include Bank of America, Genzyme, Forest Laboratories, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Chick-fil-A, Xcentric, and various non-profits. Amy currently serves as a Senior Consultant for Aspire Consulting, a Senior Consultant for Ampersand Leadership Group, and the Managing Principal for LeadHire, LLC. She previously served as a consultant at Right Management Consultants and at the Atlanta-based boutique firm Irwin & Browning.
